In previous Windows versions , the Shut Down Button location was different and probably you have searched the similar interface ,there is one but seems hidden. Windows 10 includes a Shut Down Windows dialog box that you can open with a keyboard shortcut. There are many different ways to shut down or restart Windows One of them is by pressing the Alt+F4 combination to bring up the Windows classic shutdown dialog box.
1. First of all, you need to close the windows on which you’re working. Or you can minimize those.
2. Now, press the ‘Alt‘ and ‘F4‘ keys simultaneously. You will observe a dialog box named as ‘Shut Down Windows‘.
3. You could see the “What do you want the computer to do?” section. From the drop-down menu below this section.
In the Close Window dialog box, you can select what you want the computer to do from the following actions.
Switch users
Sign out
Sleep
Shut Down
hibernate
restart
We created a small Portable freeware “Classic Shut Down” to open the same dialog Box with parameter support. cShutdown.exe or cShutdown_x64.exe has no GUI , If you double click it one of them you will see the Classic Shut Down Dialog box. For the usability (ergonomics) you can pin it to the Taskbar, this way will provide you ease of use.
In addition you can use “Classic Shut Down” with parameters. To see all available parameters , just Open Command Prompt in the “cShutdown” folder (Usually right clik the folder while you pressing the Shift key and Choose Open Command window here)
With your input and support, we will add new features as need be.
Supported operating systems: Windows 11 , Windows 10 , Windows 8.1 , Windows 8 , Windows 7 , Windows Vista , Windows Xp – (x86 & x64)

Thanks , we have noted it down
I adhere to the suggestion to add a timer so you could turn off the pc after x hours, minutes, etc.
This way it would be perfect.
Thanks for your feedback we will check it. We have used these Parameters

@Sordum, ok so you’re saying that the "/S" and "/P" parameters from Classic Shut Down are supposed to match the "/S" and "/P" from the shutdown.exe command? I originally thought that might be the case, however, the behavior of the "/S" and "/P" parameters in Classic Shut Down doesn’t match the behavior of "shutdown.exe".
Using "shutdown.exe /S" will cause the computer to shutdown after 30 seconds. Using "shutdown.exe /P" will cause the computer to shutdown immediately after the command is executed. So basically using "shutdown.exe /P" is the same as using "shutdown.exe /S /T 0"
Now if you use "cShutdown.exe /S" or "cShutdown.exe /P" the computer shuts down immediately, just like it would if you used "shutdown.exe /P". There is no difference when using cShutdown.exe like there is with the actual shutdown.exe command. So if your goal was to mimic the behavior of those two parameters exactly, then that’s something you’ll have to address in a future release.
In any case, Thanks for the clarification on what your intentions were with those two parameters.
Thanks for your comment, Please Open Admin CMD and type: shutdown /? if there are “/p” and “/s” parameters and if the explanations are not clear , Please Ask it Microsoft why they give users such parameters.
@Erhan, clearly you don’t even know what the difference is hence the reason for your generic response. I have never heard of "PowerOff" in Windows, only in Linux environments. The only other place I know where there is a separate "ShutDown" and "PowerOff" is in VMware Workstation, which obviously doesn’t apply here.
So my question still stands, what is the difference between ShutDown /S and PowerOff /P.
@Ray Donovan
Please search with google to get the necessary information.

What is the difference between the "/S" and "/P" switch? They both appear to be redundant.

Thank you for your Comments , we have noted it down for next version.
Yes, I totally agree with Mark. Restart in Safe mode would be a great addition, and IMO the best feature of the entire tool. I’ve changed the power menu on my Android. It’s now got like 4 or 5 options but the only one I ever use (besides Restart) is Reboot to Recovery. I think it’s kinda like that. All of the other options are used so rarely that you don’t really need a tool for them, especially to permanently clutter up my power menu. Safe mode is the only one used enough to make it worth it. Force mode is good…not really something most people could easily do otherwise. But just like Anon says… pretty much everything else is already very easy done with just a right click. But eh, what do I know? I cant code for shit yet. Lol, I’m just an old script kiddie. But that’s my two cents.
Great app.
but can you please add “Time feature”.
If i want to shutdown or reboot after selected period like 2 minutes or 1 hour and so on.
Thank you so much
Would be good to have start in safe mode.
Thanks Privaloff
on blank desktop press Alt+F4 and you’ll surprised. Same function in old style
The command line switches seem a bit unnecessary, given that all of them are available in the built-in shutdown.exe command. Please rename this application so it does not conflict with existing users running shutdown from the run menu (shutdown /s /t 3600)
