The registry is the heart of the Windows operating system. Modifying it is not easy, but is sometimes necessary. You might wish to make a customization, repair a registry key, or employ a new registry trick you’ve learned. Registry Key Jumper (RKJ) simplifies the navigation of the Windows registry. It is portable (no installation needed), and free.
Registry Key Jumper v1.3 (Saturday, 18. May 2019)
[Fixed] – Registry key Jumper creates blank key entries in the Tray Quick Jump Menu
[Fixed] – File -> Export As Html List doesn’t work on Google chrome
[Fixed] – Some minor improvement on Options menu codes
How To Use It:
Extract the downloaded ZIP file to the folder of your choice, and then run RegJump.exe. Select any registry key (no need to copy it, just select it) and press Ctrl+Alt+X. The registry key location will be opened automatically. If you copy any text that includes a registry key, RKJ will automatically eliminate the text and open the key location.
Example: Open RKJ, then copy the following registry key and click the Jump button in the RKJ window:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
As you see, RKJ opens the Windows registry and jumps directly to that key. Very handy!
With RKJ open, copy the following text (everything between the quotes) and press Ctrl+Alt+X on your keyboard:
“the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run”
Notice how RKJ ignores the irrelevant text, sees the key and opens the registry and jumps you directly to that key.
1. RKJ can save your favorite keys to a list. You can add or delete a key from the list by right-clicking on the key.
2. You can also import or export your list of keys quite easily. To import, click on File and choose “Import List”. To export your list, click on “Export List”. To export as HTML, click “Export as HTML”.
3. The List menu allows you to search for a key, jump to a key, delete duplicate keys, or create a desktop shortcut to jump directly to that key
4. The Settings menu lets you set “Always On Top”, “Hide Window on Startup”, or add a context menu to the Desktop or My Computer.
5. The Options submenu is found in the Settings menu. In Options you can change the Jump hotkey, or change the location of regedit.exe (or a custom registry editor). Be sure to click “Apply Options” to confirm your changes
6. You can right click Registry Key Jumper’s system tray icon to see the following options:
If you need a freeware tool to help you quickly jump to any registry key, you will love Registry Key Jumper!

Good little app as it stands. However, registry entries at blogs and such like are often given in this form (for example):
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\don’t load]
Note the square brackets. I would be useful if RegJump could parse that line, i.e. remove the square brackets and then send the result to the Registry Editor.
I really like this app , but sometime I forgot what a key to do, will perfect if had command feature for note this key to do , yahh thank devs so much
Thanks Mike, I know about (RegJump.exe /RegJump) . but l my question is how to tell "RugJump.exe" to make a desktop shortcut for the last reg key in command line and exit? Have a look at my batch file:
*****************************
@echo off
"C:\Program Files\Registry Key Jumper\RegJump.exe" /RegJump
taskkill /IM regedit.exe
"C:\Program Files\Registry Key Jumper\RegJump.exe"
pause
exit
@kaj
You can use the /RegJump command to jump to the reg key copied to the clipboard.
RegJump.exe /RegJump
To jump to a reg key, you can command the reg key.
RegJump.exe HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
I Like this tool.
Could you please give me the Command-Line Options especially " Create a Desktop Shortcut "
I tried ("C:\Program Files\Registry Key Jumper\RegJump.exe" /s ) ,but not working !
Thanks.
Hi , your comments were not deleted , just approved a bit late , sorry. In our tests, we saw that there was no such error. If the program is running in the background (if there is an icon in the tray), the window will appear automatically. First, right-click on its icon in the tray, close the program and try again.
Is there a reason my comment keeps getting deleted? There’s a bug in this tool, the "Hide Window on Startup" function does not work.
I’ve enabled that setting but it still doesn’t hide the window after startup. I’ve rebooted and the window still appears automatically, even though the setting is already enabled. Is it a bug?
I already checked the box "Hide Window on Startup", however, it doesn’t work. The window still stays visible after startup/rebooting.
The hiding function isn’t working properly for some reason. Any idea why?
If you check Settings -> Hide Window on Startup, the program will hide itself at startup. If you click the icon in the tray bar, the screen will appear.

Great tool! However, the function "Minimize on start" does not work. Every time the computer reboots, RegJumper’s window stays up on the screen until minimized manually.
Settings – Add context menu
nice tool, but where is the RegJump_Bonus.exe, I want RKJ in the Context Menu!
Chief
Could you please check the hidden Items ?

I’m having an issue where regjump does not display any icon within the system tray. As soon as I close the window (or minimize) the app disappears. It is still running however and the hotkeys work without issue. Could you please take a look? I’m running Windows 10 2004.
